In support of efficient and effective delivery of City services, the Fleet Services Division strives to provide customer departments with safe, reliable and economical vehicles and equipment through support services that are responsive to their needs while also maintaining vehicle values and equipment investments.

This mission is accomplished by:

• Providing maintenance and repair services for all City-owned vehicles and equipment.

• Utilizing modern Fleet software allows the division to provide an effective preventative maintenance program for all motorized vehicles and equipment, ensuring City resources are ready to work.

• The department furnishes technical information to end-users and prepares specifications for all vehicles and equipment purchased by the City.

• The department maintains a replacement fund to finance and schedule the eventual replacement of equipment for the departments.

• The Fleet Services division manages all City-owned fueling infrastructure sites, allowing for on-site cost effective delivery of multiple fuel types at several sites throughout the City service area.
