Walla Walla's Strategic Plan is a document that guides the implementation of the City's mission (Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Walla Walla) and vision (Walla Walla, best of the best of the Northwest). 

The Strategic Plan has four key focus areas: Livability, Economic Health, Safe Community, and High Performing Organization. Each focus area is supported by several objectives/priorities, which are identified based on input from residents via the annual Resident Satisfaction Survey; from City Council members and department directors; and from staff via the annual Employee Engagement Survey.

These objectives serve as goals the City works toward by aligning staff and financial resources. The Strategic Plan is periodically updated with new objectives as the City accomplishes its goals.
