The Communications Division is responsible for facilitating communication between the City and residents, between residents and City officials and staff, and between City employees.

City staff use a variety of methods to accomplish this, including social media, web graphics, printed materials, signs, advertisements, the City website, photos and videos, articles, surveys and forms, open houses, personal outreach, and more.

Communications Division staff help to organize the City's summer community parties and other public events. Communications staff also represent the City of Walla Walla in various community groups and committees.
