The City of Walla Walla has authorized the Hearing Examiner to conduct hearings on certain land use permit applications and appeals. The Hearing Examiner system assures fairness and due process protection for all persons involved in the land use hearing process. It is the Hearing Examiner's responsibility to render land use decisions in an efficient manner. Hearings held before the Hearing Examiner are quasi-judicial proceedings. The Hearing Examiner system has been adopted by the City of Walla Walla pursuant to RCW 35A.63.170.

The City of Walla Walla Hearings Examiner holds hearings at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month in the City of Walla Walla Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall at 15 N. Third Avenue, Walla Walla, WA 99362.

If there are no applications pending before the Hearings Examiner, no public hearing or meeting will be held.
