City of Walla Walla
Home MenuOutreach & Education
Providing information to residents and businesses on the services and facilities for solid waste management is key to making better decisions about how to manage the wastes we produce on a daily basis.
On behalf of Walla Walla County, the City coordinates waste reduction, recycling, household hazardous waste, pollution prevention, and composting outreach activities throughout the year.
Staff is available to bring presentations to classrooms and organizations and appears at many community events with free information on a variety of topics. Tours of the Landfill and Compost Facility for individuals or groups are available upon request.
To schedule a presentation or tour please contact Leah Rohan at lrohan@wallawallawa.gov.
