Air Quality Policy
Walla Walla Parks & Recreation administration and staff will confer with www.airnow.gov and the Air Quality Index (AQI) to help guide their decision making around outside activities.
If the AQI is 151 or higher, we cancel practices and games.
Heat Index Policy
Walla Walla Parks & Recreation follows the same heat index guidelines as the WIAA and Walla Walla Public Schools. Heat Index is a combination of air temperature and relative humidity.
If the Heat Index is 105 or higher, we will cancel. If it is between 100-104, we will look to move the activity to earlier in the day or later in the day.

About
Open to boys and girls. Teams will be grouped according to grade and gender. Teams will play approximately a 10 game schedule. Parks & Recreation will attempt to keep players on the same team as the previous year but can not always guarantee that will occur.
Coaches determine practice schedule and will provide you with dates/times and location.

Early Registration: $55

Grades
Kindergarten - 8th (grade entering school in Fall 2024)
Registration - 2024
- Registration begins May 13th
- Early Registration deadline: June 23rd
- Late Registration: June 24th
- Registration ends: August 23rd or when teams are full
Practice and Games - 2024
- First Practice: Week of August 19th
- First Games: September 4th
- Last Games: October 12th
Location
Practice at Walla Walla Area Athletic Fields and games at Mill Creek Sportsplex, Eastgate Lions Park, and Washington Park
