Big Idea Talks: WWPL Community Winter Reads: Blue Zones Kitchen Cooking Class

  • Introduction: Coming February 24, 2022, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. join us via Zoom for a demonstration of how to prepare two of the many delicious & nutritious recipes in this year's WWPL Community Winter Reads selection, "Blue Zones Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Live to 100".

Receive the event Zoom link when you register to attend via Eventbrite on the Blue Zones Project Walla Walla events page at https://wwvalley.bluezonesproject.com/events .

All registered attendees will receive a Blue Zones Project T-shirt and will be entered in drawings to win a Crockpot or a copy of Blue Zones Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Live to 100.

50 free bags with all the necessary ingredients will be available to community members at Walla Walla Public Library beginning Saturday, February 19 (limit one bag per household.) Copies of Blue Zones Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Live to 100 are available now at the library for checkout, and can be reserved via the online catalog at https://catalog.wallawalla.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=207232, or by calling the library during regular open hours. The library is open 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday.
